Was hanging around with a bunch of my students a few days back and one of them asked: "What exactly is that we really do?"
The answer caught the student by surprise.... we tell stories. In fact we are the storytellers of our age.

I got a copy of Tom's new book which is "Foundation Flash 8 Video". I read the book very quickly in 3 days and found it interesting (although some important stuff are missing).
but still it's better than most of books i've seen on Video(FLV).
if you are interested in learning how to produce/optimize/work with video files in Flash, that's the book you are looking for.
What you get from this book in the end is a combination of Flash MX 2004 Audio & Video Integration, actionScript essential traning from Lynda.
A lot of actionScript codes which could be used to control your movies are not included in this book. But still, reading it wouldn't be a waste of time.
I would recommend it to designers/Flash animators and web designers who want to add video to thier flash apps/sites.
