The "Class" Project
As I have pointed out in class this week, this project is to be completed, in class, and submitted via an email link to me by the end of the class.
Project:
Your client has been to China and wants to put a series of images up on the web. The Art Director for this project has decided to let you do the job of creating the Flash project and the only instruction he has given you is that the main page must look like this:
He has made it clear to you that all assets, including the Main Navigation Button, must be assembled in Flash. The specs for the project are as follows:
Flash Stage Dimensions: 380 pixels wide by 265 pixels high.
Stage Color: D3CDA9
Main Navigation Button: 164 by 171.2, Location: X = 92, Y = 41.
Images: All images must be 320 by 240 in size.
Mask Shape: To be created in Illustrator and brought into Flash. Mask and drop shadow to be applied in Flash.
Movie length: 2 Frames. Frame 1 will be the main page. Frame 2 will be the image and the button bar.
Functionality: Click on the Main Navigation button and be taken to Frame 2. Click on an image on the button bar and the image appears on the screen.
Applications to be used: Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash
Assets Provided:
Main Page: Mask.jpg, Maskee.jpg, DSCN0431.jpg
Images: DSCN0010.jpg, DSCN00157.jpg, DSCN00165.jpg, DSCN00550-.jpg, DSCN00558.jpg, DSCN00581.jpg
Slide images in frame 2 to be cropped and/or resized to fit the specification.
Key Consideration:
In order to keep this project manageable and the resulting SWF small, the Art Director has made it clear to you that the background image on the main page and the images on the second page must load at run time.
